How much should you spend on the guys wedding band?

It doesn't matter. A ring is a symble of love, not how much money you got in your wallet. My husband got mine at a Pawn shop, we were 17. It never comes off. I know he couldn't afford much, but it didn't matter to me. I knew he loved me.

You should talk about it as a couple and see what both want. My husband and I did this when we were engaged. He wasn't able to afford a lot of money for the ring, and our priorities were to make sure we had money to live on after we got married and a place to live, so we opted to go to a pawn shop. We got a great antique ring for very little money, (compared to what we would have spent for the same piece brand new), and we've been married 24 years and I still wear that ring and love it. However, I know some people couldn't imagine going to a pawn shop to buy a wedding ring. Like I said, all according to how much you can afford and what both your wishes are.

Good luck.

You should spend what you can afford. The last thing you want to be when you get married is behind the eight ball. I think my husband spent about 1,000 on my engagement ring I paid a little over 200 for his band. Luckily my wedding band was a family heirloom my mother gave me.

Do what my fiance did - he went to the jewelers when there was a diamond sale AND a platinum sale. It came out 75% off. That doesn't bother me because he wasn't rolling in cash at the time, but I got a hella nice ring.

As little as you can get by with. OVER 50% of the marriages are gonna end soon anyway.
