Pet names are all right, but every now and then it's really nice to hear your 'name'. It's a matter of connection, especially from the one you love. When my husband tells me he loves me and calls me by name, it's just really sincere or more so than with a pet name. I guess it depends on the person, but that's my feeling.

I definitely would want to be called sweetie or cutie (as in hey sweetie, I'm on my way over) but a personalized knickname would be probably the best of worlds (not something generic that you could have called your last 5 girlfriends.)

Personally I'd like pet names..but not all the time.
It'd be nice if a guy kind of alternated between them.

I like being called by pet name, like baby or sweetie...
sometimes i luv to hear my fiance call my name too :)

Nothing like sugar buger...thats was a bad pet name from a guy once. I like baby, or hun, or sweetie. OR my realy name. just nothing freaky like- pudding.

of course they do like to be called enduring names by people who love them. as they like to call people they love and care for pet names

Probably got to ask each woman.
If she likes you, she'll probably like the pet name you call her because it communicates that she's special to you.
If she doesn't like you, it might creep her out.
