Do you ever open your partners mail?

All the time - it is the only way bills get paid. He never opens his letters they are shoved in the drawer unopened.

If it looks suspicious, hand written, like a love letter or personal letter i would. Also if it was from a company which he never discussed with me i would. Its not invading his privacy as if we live together their is no privacy and we should share everything, if he's not then he's trying to hind something and i want to know what.
Open it and tell him it was delivered like that or get a kettle and steam it open if you dont want him to know. Personally i would open it and tell him i did so he knows im being upfront with him and this is what i expect back.

I open his and he opens mine. What's the big deal? We're married and have joint bank accounts. I've even taken his surname so the odd bit of envelope opening seems like a fair trade.

Yes because its our mail if i left it to him they would just sit there unopened for ever

No and he does not open mine,we always see each others though.

yes all the time and if he is in when the post arrives and i am not then he opens mine.. we have nothing to hide from each other
