has anyone ever heard about a long time ago that most of the world were tracing a unknown object underwater for a couple of weeks and then it just took off.

I believe there were reports of a "UFO" being "sighted" underwater near Canada some time in the 50's or 60's.

Hi. Some volcanic vents stopped flowing and the tubeworms and other life forms were found a great distance away, on another vent.
