Stuart Lee, Dylan Moran, and Sean Lock are all extremely funny, intelligent and very quick witted. If you go onto google videos you can watch any of George Carlin's stuff, he also is a brilliant mind and comedian. They all have some great stuff to say and a great way of putting it accross, all very different in style and definitely worth checking out.

Sheesh! Another opinion poll. Okay, this one is worthy...Russell Peters...this guy is a real crack-up.
I wouldn't have believed a guy of total India lineage could make an American audience laugh but this guy had me , alone watching the tube, laughing out loud.

Peter Kay is soooo funny, and Ross Noble is pretty good. I don't know that many stand-up comedians to be honest.
