None. There aren't a lot of classic horror movies which I enjoy that could be improved by today's actors or cinematic technology advancements.
I do really enjoy Night of the Living Dead, the original by George Romero. Maybe Will Smith and Maggie Grace would be good recasts...of course they remade it in 2006 in 3D and it was awful. Other 80's and 90's remakes have also sucked.

No... the individuals who comprehend the originals haven't any incentive to pass see a remake because they a million) already like the unique and a pair of) they already comprehend the tale. the more youthful crowd gained't respond to the classics properly because they're incredibly tame now a days in evaluation to all the FX and gore stuff. extremely some what makes it a classic is the reaction to the action picture on the time it got here out. You educate someone those days lots of the unique well-known monster %. and also you're prolly going to get "why isn't it in colour", "...and "this isn't scary. How did human beings imagine this became scary" etc. similar with the monster/ "B" videos in the 50s and 60s, Hammer action pictures, etc.

I would really, really love to see a definitive version of "The Phantom of the Opera"; one that was true to Gaston Leroux's original novel--None, and I mean none, of the previous film versions have come close, although Lon Chaney's original interpretation is the best in terms of his acting and makeup--all of the versions have only a few moments of power, mystery and terror, and although the musical has a fine score and good songs, it short-changes the Phantom's death's head visage, his criminal genius and his obsession for Christine...
So, somebody----anybody---remake the Phantom, once more, with feeling!

I would prefer that Hollywood stop remaking classic movies. They are good the way they are. Hollywood writers get paid a lot of money, and it is not too much too ask that they come up with an original story.

I would love a descent exorism movie. Not exactly a remake of the exorcist though. If they did make a remake the exorcist, Linda Blair would be playing the mom this time and think how much scarier it could be compared to then??????????

The Thing.
Can you imagine what they could do now with all the different forms The Thing takes in the movie?
Kirk Russell would still be cool to play the lead. : )
