If you think about what Harry Potter has had to deal with, you would understand why he is the way he is. He has had things thrown at him his whole life. He didn't ask for any of it. He has always wanted a normal life. He didn't ask to be the boy-who-lived or the savior of the Wizarding World. And as far as Daniel Radcliffe's acting ability. He is a wonderful actor. He has alot of scope and range in his acting.

He's not had it easy so far.
11 years with the Dursleys, Voldermort out to kill him, hopeless with women, untrusted by the Ministry Of Magic, and not the brightest student.
Give him a break.
As for Daniel Radcliffe, it's great to see he's making brave decisions as an actor, appearing naked in the play Equus in London, and the Australian film December Boys.

No...I don't think that he does. However in the very last book, I think he's going to get a lot more than a good kicking

I don't like the writing and most of the films are wearisome. Children seem to like it, but I think it could be better.
There are far more worthy causes for what you suggest.
Emma Thompson for example
