That would be the easy way??? Who wants to deal with all the dead bodies? Do you realize the diseases that would infect the entire region? Nukes are not the answer and they never should have been used for that in the first place. Like one of the other ppl on this answer said, that would greatly affect the oil. How much more do you want to pay for gas?
Why not do targeted hits to take out their uranium enrichment plants and a couple of hits on Ahmahdinajad and the Shaw?

Why stop there, why not nuke, Iraq, Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, China, North Korea, Venezuela and everyone else who disagrees with you. Good point, start a conflict then nuke 'em. Makes sense.

First biological and chemical warfare agents.

The USA has in its arsenal biological vectors which have a lifespan for only twenty four or fourty eight hours and there is no lingering trace after they wipe out an entire civilization.

We have chemical warfare agents which work along similar lines and are even more painful than the biological warfare agents.

By using the biological and/or chemical warfare agents we can depopulate Iran yet leave the poppy fields and oil wells intact. :) $$$$$
