A very bad idea, please don't add to their frustration. Make some beautiful decorations and a little basket for each patient and play some old time music and they will enjoy this much more. If they hide the eggs themselves they still will face problems with mobility and may get very frustrated trying to find the eggs. Kindness and patience and lots of music will help much more.

Lol. That's funny. I was a NA for years. These patients cannot find their own sets of teeth half the time. That would be hilarious and probably be fun for them as well. Carry on...

Actually, if you did this with respect and with the agreement of those involved, this would be an excellent exercise for them.
I think you meant this as a joke, but actually there's some good in it.
