The day when the Indian team is sponsored by Australians or by Chappell.
I don't understand peoples ignorance or lack of ability to smell the damage from where it is, why are we talking about other bookies while India has appointed the official bookie in the form of GC. Actually the damage started from then on.

There are four groups in the Indian cricket. sachin, Saurav, Sehwag and the president of the BCCI. Sachin groomed maharashtrians such as Nilesh,Dighe, Bahutule, salve,Pawar and many more. They made their entry and exit when Sachin was at the top. When Ganguly became captain he favoured SS.Das, Rohan, Deepak das Gupta and other easterners.Sehwag got Gambhir, Nehra, Mongia and a few others from the north.
this is the real issue ailing our cricket. Newcomers have to join one of these groups or a favourite with the BCCI .president. Ganguly felt that Kumble and Dravid are not ODI players . Sachin and Gavaskar feel that only West zone players are good. Dravid is in the widerness. He does not know what to do.
Sack Sachin, Saurav and Sehwag and everything will be alright.

Players should allow having only those sponsors which is sponsoring the Indian team.

Sponsors should pay only twice the match winning fees to a player as sponsor ship payment but should also deduct if team lose match at same amount.

Players should not be allowed to have more than 3 Advertisement in any calendar year or not more than 6 working days.

Any player which skip national game or any training session should be immediately disbarred from match for next five international tournaments

i feel........ advertisers are approaching the team members based on their image in the public. when someone plays well in one series, he will be treated like god... so for the advertisers, he will be ideal choice to promote their goods.

If, we the general public have the capability to analyze every win and loss of indian team in much more constructive manner, image of the players would be balanced at all times and they can concentrate on the game. Players will not get all ads when they are success and will not have any fear when they lose.

Our passion for cricket is not going to change. If India wins against Bangladesh next month, all of us will forget about the world cup misery and start praising our cricketing gods.

Hence... they start getting the high ad ratings and will be detached to the team, when playing in big tournaments or with good teams like australia, southafrica etc., and in abroad.

Reduce their salaries. Contracts should be performance based and conditional. Ban them to appear in any advertisement for four years , at least and appoint a patriotic Indian coach besides a patriotic psychologist who can give them a bit of a mental strength.

Presently most of the players take their place in the Indian team take for granted and they get their payment irrespective of their performance. Once this complacency is removed from the players, they will be on their guard and forced to perform. In order to achieve this objective, a strong bench strength should be built up and payment to the players should be purely on performance based.

This matter comes within the purview of BCCI & sports ministry. They can adopt better strategy in this direction if they wish in no time, undoubtedly. Actually they're answerable but people in those authorities are by & large so much arrogant that it is an exercise in futility to ask such questions.

It is very simple if the Finance Minister minds tax at 80% on the company and tax at 75% on the players and track actual payments made.
