Hey there,

6 + 4(6-3) - 9
= 6 + 4(3) - 9
= 6 + 12 - 9
= 18 - 9
= 9

Employ BODMAS to find out the order of which numbers to do first in the equation. Bracket, Of, Division, Multiplication, Addition, then Subtraction.

9, not 21, but 9. use a calulator once in a while and you can figure it out in no time. or, if ur like me, u don't need a calculator and u can do it in ur head. now, here's my question to u, factor out 2x^2+3x-8. and tell me what it equals. it's simple enough.
