Actually there really isn't really a minimum age to show your rabbit as a junior. The only requirement is that the rabbit meets the weight range as stated in the ARBA Standard Book of Perfection. Normally the rabbit should be at least 3 months old before showing it. I've shown and won with many rabbits that are 4 months old. If you wait too long on some breeds, the rabbit will get too big too quick and you won't be able to show it in that class. My New Zealands will often start reaching 6-8 weight when they get to be 5 months old. So at 5 months I have to sometimes move them up to the 6-8 class. Some breeds you can move up in class. Others, like Checkered Giants you cannot. But once you move a rabbit up in class you can never show it again in a lower class. So say you showed a rabbit as a 6-8, you can't go back and show it later as a Junior even though it may be under 6 months old and within the Junior weight range.

There may be some definitions about age regarding pre-juniors, but I've not seen any minimum age requirement for Juniors.

I want to say 4-6 months? Check the ARBA website, they may have more specific info.

it depends on the breed. some breeds have a pre jr. group. For most rabbits it is 3 to 6 months. There are two classes for rabbits a 4 class and a 6 class. The 4 class is jr. doe, jr. buck ans senior doe and senior buck. For 6 class there are pre jr doe/buck,jr. doe/buck, 6/8 doe/buck and senior doe/buck. I have been showing rabbits foe eight years (im 16) my family has has bred rabbits for over 55 years. Your rabbit has to be per bred to show

I thought that they had to be at least 5 months old to show them, because they aren't that smart at 3 or 4 months old. And I think at 5 months, they should be fully matured.

Not completely sure though.
