The goal was reviewed so you cannot blame it on the refs. They don't decide the outcome of the replay. You get some calls your way sometimes and vice versa. I have seen the Flames get alot of calls their way this year too but I bet that didn't have you up in arms.

My favourite call was the tripping penalty on Lombo.....skating with his back to the Canucks player, he some how magically was able to see through the back of his helmet the Canuck coming into the zone and then perfectly put his stick blade in the ideal position for the Canuck to trip over it.....or an easier explaination....the Canuck stepped on Lombo's stick and fell!!
I talked to a buddy before the game started, and when they announced Mr. Magoo as a ref, I said the Flames didn't have a chance......Magoo hates the Flames, and his imaginary calls ruin good hockey games!!
ps..I don't think goalie interefence is a reviewable call on replay, so the goal couldn't be called back for that (although if the call on the ice was no-goal, it would have not counted....just not enough undisputable evidence.....blame Magoo for making the boneheaded goal call when he should have waved it off).

I am a calgary fan but last night I was totally for vancouver and for one reason. I live in Denver and have my whole life pretty much, so I am a faithful Avalanche fan. As I watched the game trickle through Canuck's fingers I couldn't help but yell at those Sedin twins for not playing a better game. But ya know what... that game was the most "real" hockey I have seen in a long time. And yeah, I guess there was a goalie interference that was not called. Oh well.

I'm a Vancouver fan. But I'd agree that some penalties went our way. I was laughing. It looked like I think it was a twin could have at best tripped over the blue line, at worst took a dive and it was called. It is all the stupid way they call the game these days.
But that was a goal. It was pretty clear that the puck went in off of the tip of Kippy's blocker as he swung it back. The puck also went in a direction consistent with his swing. I see it that way, the announcers said it was that way, the reff said it was, and the goal judge. Tripping? What about the cross check that knocked over the Vancouver player? Just be glad the goal wasn't too important in deciding the game.

I think the Flames played excellently in the first two periods but in the third, the Canucks showed a lot of heart.
I don't see anything wrong with the refereeing.

Yup. i became merely searching at that. i'm no longer gazing recreation one cuz that recreation sucks at the same time as there is an fairly good Montreal/Ottawa recreation i ought to extremely see. it extremely is an fairly good adventure-up, yet there are 12 different video games on on the instant that i ought to extremely watch than Toronto. If CBC is so certain we prefer to observe Toronto then why aren't the different activities stations allowed to broadcast a competing recreation? it would not count that you do not have cable on Saturdays. Oh, until eventually you wanted to seize the Toronto pregame propaganda, that you do not. they have even taken the French channel hockey concepts remote from me. i exploit to observe Montreal in French for all time. i'd genuinely watch baseball, and it should be the first 3-hitter I watch this 12 months. wager i am going to easily watch recreation 2 and easily because Colorado is in it. Zyb: Toronto market? the game is nationwide until eventually you stay in Ottawa or Montreal. The jerks evaluate Canada the Toronto market. I merely watched grapes so i am going to pass decrease back to the starting up of the subsequent 3-hitter. pass playing cards.

Over all I thought the game was very good, but the reffing was very inconstant. Blatant penalties for both teams not called then a phantom call minutes later.
I was watching with some friends, who don't watch hockey and they kept asking why this wasn't called but that was. The only think I could tell them was it was Bettman's New NHL.
