I assume you are referring to the Titanic. I don't know how many people were killed, but I do know it was most likely the majority. Many could have been saved if they had had the correct amount of lifeboats. Name them? Are you kidding?

Titanic and the only persons I know were killed is Jack Dawson and my great grandfather Sun Yee Li.
