I do that and it means absolutely nothing to me. It happened because I used to wear 7 earrings, one by one I took them out or they fell out. I've have one left that's been in for about 10 years and I just forget it's there. I don't notice it and I never thought anyone else noticed it either.

I know some gangs do that, but those tend to have girls (teenagers) and not women (adults)
