think a bout it ,that Shell is to hard if water cant get through it why would salt or vinegar help?
Start them in cold weather boil for 10 to 15 , let them cool in the same water for about 8 min. ,till the water is not hot but warm coll is okay just not cold
Now the trick is eggs have a tinny bit of air in them.
lightly smack both end of the egg on the counter lightly roll the egg with your hand on the counter.
what your doing is loosening that thin layer of skin between the shell and the egg.
that skin is what keep you from peeling your eggs the right way.

Put salt in the cold water, put the eggs in water, when water comes to a boil take off stove. let sit for about 10 minutes then pour off water and fill pan with cold water peel and eat. This also prevents green edges on the yolks.

I boil the water first, then put the eggs in and let them cook with the flame off. The shells don't stick.

Hey, I know this one! Once you've finished boiling, stick it in cold water for a few seconds. The shell peels off easier after that...

I heard that sticking them under cold water as soon as you take them out of the boiling water helps. I haven't tried it myself though.

Old eggs will stick to the shell more, but run them under cold water when you are peeling them it will help.

Run them under cold water when they are done cooking. Then I always crack the shell around the fat end first and peel that way. The shells seem to come off better...
