what steps should I take if I have a suicidal friend?

Take them to a hospital, call a suicide help hotline, tell their parents.. get help immediately you cannot handle thsi own your own

Do your absolute best to get them to a counselor. This of course, doesn't always work--so regardless of what you do, let their family know. Create a network of people you can trust to help this person. And no matter what, don't take all the burden upon yourself.

This is a hard question to touch. But this is what I suggest.

1)Find out what makes them depressed.

2)Try and change/fix it.

3)If that doesn't work, get them out of the situation.

4)Confront them about it, and tell them about why suicide is wrong.

first: calm ur self down. second: ask them why do they want to do this. third: tell them how many people will miss them and love them. fourth:if they're still set on this, stay with them for a while and just let them vent everything to to u. hold them when they cry n give them somthing soft to throw at a wall. i've been through this before, it's worked for me. good luck.

I'm glad you know you have to do something. I say take the issue to someone in authority their parents, principal, help-line, police) and once you do that it's out of your hands.

1) fix woteva makes her suicidal
2)Move her into your house (if over 18) so you could keep an eye on her.
3)sign her up for counseling and go with her.

dont wory my friend is sucidal too .and so was i but we both go out it wiht therepy and God b/c u will go to hell if u die tht way so tell her to think b4 she act
