Why would you choose to have a c-section? Are you just scared of childbirth? A caeserian is surgery. It is painful and has a much longer recovery time than having a vaginal delivery. My aunt had a hysterectomy and she doesn't understand why people want c-sections. She has a pocket of fat that will never go away. She also said it was a painful recovery. If it's for medical reasons and the safety of you and your baby then fine. But if it's because you're too scared to give birth then that is kind of silly. I am terrified of giving birth and actually thought the same thing for about a second until I relized how much worse a c-section would be. Good Luck with whatever you do.

Well I have a friend in Germany, She is there with her Husband who is the US Army, Who didn't want to give birth and opted for a C-Section, But you should know there are risk to having a C-Section over a Vaginal Birth. The Recovery for a C-Section is long than a Vaginal, You have more chances of blood clots, The Staples or Stitches can come out before they should and actually C-Sections hurt more than a Vaginal Delivery.
I had 2 Vaginal Deliveries and I am glad I didn't have a C-Section, My first child I had completely without any pain relief and my second I opted for a Epidural. A Vaginal recovery is only a few days after that the pain is barely there.
You still have discharge, But at least you don't have any pain in the lower abs. I hope that you do the research before you opt for a C-section, and I wish you luck. Congrats on the baby.

Most doctors will not give you a c-section unless you need a c-section for your or your baby's health.
Giving birth isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be! And there are plenty of pain relief options. Of course labour hurts, and if you don't think that you could take the pain, get an epidural. Don't be afraid to give birth... just think of what you get out of it!

well i don't live in the UK so i wouldn't know about that, but why don't you want to give birth vaginally? you recover a lot quicker and the hospital stay is shorter if you have the baby the natural way.

A lot of women are afraid of vaginal birth. Please keep in mind, however, that a Cesarean is major surgery. If you have one, you will be caring for a newborn while recovering from MAJOR surgery. I am confused as to why anyone would choose to have one unless it was medically necessary.
Godspeed.

please have a vaginal delivery. c-sections take longer to heal. dont put your body through a major surgery if you dont need it. the pain after is also a lot worse. dont do that. the surgery also carries its own risks and most doctors wont do one just because you dont want to give birth the way God intended

I want to have another vaginal birth so bad, but because my placenta is low, docs think i may have to have a c section and it horrifies me to death! sticking a huge needle in my spine to numb me, then splicing me open and taking out the baby, id rather push him out

vaginal deliveries are a lot better for baby too as it geets all of the fluid out of the lungs faster and it helps them through the process

i should hope not. A c-section is MAJOR SURJERY!
Don't get pregnant if you don't want to give birth. babies are not a fashion accessory.
