Benjie Molina, Jonny Estrada, Jason Kindel, or Ronny Pulino? Or should i wait and see which of them plays the best? Its just that a .238 avg hurts me with varitek.

Pick up Estrada. Bottom line, he is one of the few legit .300 hitting catchers and last season had 71 RBI (2nd in the NL among catchers) and did it in only 115 games. This season he is a clear cut full time starter and should get 130-135 starts so add 50-60 AB to his totals and you are looking at 15HR, 80 RBI and a .295-.300 AVE. . Varitek is 35 years old (and catchers dont improve offensive numbers at that age), Estrada is 30 and hasnt caught nearly as many games as Varitek.

Don't drop Tek. This year he is going to be much better. He worked with some batting coach to improve his swing and it showed in spring training. Molina might not even play, and the others are good but not as good as tek. Try tek out for the first month those other catchers will be there all season

i imagine you ought to %. up Barret. he's hitting extremely strong at present and Varitek has extremely hit a wall. he's not swinging the bat strong in any respect at present. you want to pass with whos warm.

Paulino. He is a 2nd year player, and hits for a very good average. Also, his power numbers are improving. He is the best overall C of the 4 you listed.

If it's average you are seeking, Kindel's a good bet as he's the best contact hitter amongst that bunch.

i just picked up estrada last weak and im happy with him hes having a great spring and hopefully it carries through to the regular season

I would say let the season start. See how he does in the first week or two. Also check on how the others do also. Thats what I would do.
