ok, my dogs...vaginal area is swollen. what is wrong and what do i do?

she doesnt act sick and she eats n stuff. though i havent seen her drink lately.

Is it possible that your dog got out and mated with a neighbor dog or something. If not you may want to find her a mate. ( I think she is horny). Becuase i know that that happens to humans when they are. (SO I HEAR). Sorry if i disgusted you but that is the only reason that i can think of. If you think neither of these is possible to be true then I would talk to your vet about it. (it could be a serious problem and you wouldn't know it.
Or, it could be strep butt. It sound s funny but i have heard of it in humans, and is possible that the dog caught it.

Trust me you do not need the help of ANYONE on Yahoo Answers - too many weirdos who think it's funny to give incorrect advice - and plenty of other people who want to help but don't know what they're talking about!
You need the help of a vet. I'm assuming the dog is not spayed, so this could be an early sign of pyometra (very serious). Then again, she could just be in season!
No one on Yahoo Answers has SEEN your animal, so no one can know what is wrong - take her to a vet please!
