Neither, I let it ring and ring until they give up. I don't like to answer the phone. =)

Most of the time i answer it, unless i cant be bothered to get up to get the phone, if it is urgent they will ring back

i like to let the machine do it. if i answer then im gonna have to talk with them but the machine can just record and ill listen

If it's my home phone the answering machine always gets it. It's normally a telemarketer. If it's my cell, I always answer it if I can get to it.

If it says "Out of Area" I will answer it about half the time, other than that I always answer!

i never ever answer my phone, i hate phones and dont use them. if someone calls my house, i let someone else pick up the phone.
