It was said to originate from Pagan custume that the First of April is the first day of the new year. (because it's the first day of spring) Later the Christians made it Jan 1st. So it's really easy to fool people who forgot about the new date for new year.
Also, since it's early spring, people are tempted to go fishing. But fish at this time of the year are small but easy to catch. So people who get fooled are in reference to the easy to catch fish.

I never gave it much thought. Maybe when I was a kid I'd tell some girl "Oh look you've got a run in your hose!Ha!Ha! I fooled ya April Fools!" It's no be deal. No impact what so ever.

Well, I just tied a rubber band around the sprayer on my kitchen sink and when someone turned the sink on it sprayed them.
I forget where it originated but I'm sure you could find it if you searched on Google.

I never knew about April Fool's Day until I began hearing about it on my school. i dont necessarily celebrate it because it is antibiblical according to my religion.

i dont know how did it originate, but in my relegion which is islam u shouldnt lie even joking..because sometimes you may make a big problem or ruin everything , ofcourse we can joke but we try to get away from lying..
