My BA % has plummeted from 33% to 27% and I lost my orange badge (good riddance)...but I'm having more fun, so I think it's worth it!
The question- how important is your BA % to you?

I appreciate getting a BA. But I was on here for awhile and didn't even know about that. At first, I only got on when I had a serious question and needed information. Then there comes the addiction factor. And as several people mentioned, it's nice to feel that you've helped. I can't figure out who qualifies for an orange banner. I like P&S because the people are so nice. It's brutal on some of the other places. Like Religion and Spirituality.

Its not really important. its more fun just answering questions as you like than worrying about the stats. I swear a lot of those orange badge people make multiple accounts so that they can load themselves up with BAs.

As anybody I think we all like to get some best answers from time to time, but I never take it personally if I don't despite of a potential very good answer on my part...The choices are determined on personal choice & taste and several other factors that makes it impossible to get true justice out of it! As for the orange badge, thanx...I was wondering how come it suddenly dissapeared out of thin air! I slowed down a lot on the Questions...So that's why!!! Instinct served me well again, cause I wanted that thing off my avatar for so long! LOL Thanx again, your Q ? was very informative to me...

Most of the time I don't even know what my % is, and it really doesn't matter to me. What does matter is getting an e-mail saying that something I'd said was very helpful to someone, I'll take that over 100% BA any day!

My badge comes and goes...that last time it ran away, I didn't notice it was gone till another user mentioned theirs was gone...so It's not all that big a deal...The P&S is sooooo diverse...lots more interesting and as a surprise to myself...I've learned some cool stuff here.....and feel as though I've, on occasion, actually helped out...folks can get off on tangents though....but, that's all part of it too

I had the same thing happen to me. I don't care that much about it, but I do get very excited when I receive a best answer. It's just for fun.

not very. Sometimes give silly answers to silly questions. The odd really serious question is worth a good answer, if you get best answer on a few of those, thats worth it

It's not that important to me, and I think the badge thing is just a scam to get people more addicted to answering questions. I had two badges, they took one away, then gave it back and last week they took em both. Like wtf?
