Do you mean the food colouring?
I think it is "technically" halal.
But I have seen "haram-ingredient lists" which include things which are usually considered "halal", but are generally proven to be bad for your health. I know that ONE of those food colourings IS supposed to be rather unhealthy (although its permitted to be used). I also remember a book which recommends avoiding certain food colourings & additives if you have excema - I´m pretty sure it was red .....maybe it´s this one.

Red 40 is used in many products, such as orange soda, as a coloring agent. I don't think it is haram as per Shara'ya laws. I would suggest you to confirm this issue with experts.

Cheers.
