My farmer retrieved the cauldren from the woodpile, but now I can't find where he put it in order to put it on the fire to make stews... any ideas?

If something happened that interrupted your farmer while he was taking the cauldron to the fire, (such as an island event or completion of a puzzle) he would have dropped it. It may be back in the woodpile. You might have to quit and restart your game for it to come back. According to the Director of QA and Testing for Last Day of Work, there is a known glitch that will be addressed in the update they will be releasing soon.

Its right by the fire. On the right side of the fire pit. It takes lots of steps to get a stew going.
