Hi, friend, Few simple and easy ways. Try to install microsoft frontpage It is a html builder and viewer with high grafics and easy ways. I used it to show my html and asp project to the university. If your are also doing the same you must install windows iss server.

Open add or remove programes in control panel
click on add or remove windows components and choose the iss server adn click next insert cd. This is for windows xp. It works best for your html webpage preview. ( right click on the folder and webshare choose and give name only and click okay).

Open internet explorer type (localhost/webshare name) and enter.i.e., IF you webshare your folder with doman test, type in internet explorer
localhost/test
I am sure this will work. Thanks

What program are you trying to launch the site with (i.e. Internet explorer, firefox)? What application did you design the site in (i.e. Notepad, Dreamweaver)?

Copy and Paste the html to the Notepad (if you're running windows) and save it with an html extension ("website.html" for example)
