no. i keep trying to get mine to work but it just refuses. it is the absolute proof that the welfare system has gone bad.
no matter how much i try to get it to work, my smoke detector keeps saying, why work when i can just hang around here and rely on you to take care of me. its really useless.
so sad. maybe one of these days......
just kidding.. i agree. everyone needs at least one good working smoke detector. we change the batteries on ours every time we move the clocks ahead or back and we test them on the first of every month.
start doing that and soon it will become a habit.
also.... most fire stations will give you a smoke detector free and batteries if you dont have one.

One, that is what was required when my house was built and it does work I change the battey ever 6 months when the time changes.
