God doesn't make us suffer but He does allow us to suffer sometimes to learn from it and to draw closer to Him. We learn from the rough times in our lives and they make us better, stronger, more empathetic people. We make the decisions and choices that sometimes brings hurt to our lives. Remember that we have the free will to choose our own way. God is there for you through your suffering and will help you through it if you will allow Him to. If He brings you to it, He will bring you through it!

God does not MAKE us suffer. We do that to ourselves. God gave us the freedom of choice and the choices that we make can cause either suffering or joy. He gave us the ability to choose (and the ability to question) so that we might learn the difference and grow into intelligent beings. HE also gave us several sets of guidelines to help us make the right decisions, but ultimately we have the choice to follow them or not, and to what degree.

Every individual is responsible for his or her own happiness. Mostly it is a matter of perspective. If we focus on the negative things in our life, we miss seeing the positive things in our lives. Certainly bad things happen to good people, but it is measure of the caliber of that person as to how they view their situation in life.

We read the biblical the story of Job, and question why god made Job to suffer; but actually it was the devil that caused Job to suffer to test his devotion to God. Afterward God rewarded Job for his faith and devotion, not for his suffering.

Hmmm that's a complicated question...I think you can configure youre own predestination. There are so many things you can do to make youre days better. But yes...I know cases when you can't do anything to avoid suffering.I belive that every bad moments have an aim in our life.God don't wants you to be sad, dissapointed, a.s.o., but to avoid something worst that could happened or can happen to you.When you don't have friends, or you have problems in youre family that may be a preparation for youre future...anyway, I think you must resist till you find out exactly what is youre suffering good for

I don't think it's God. We have everything we need on the planet and we can do with it as we wish. There are simply consequences for our choices.

We also have free choice about how we think and feel about things. If we get sick with a serious illness we can think, "OH poor me - how awful, this isn't fair..." or we can think, "Now I have a timeline for my dreams. I better get going because I've got another year left to fit it all in" and go off and live our dreams.

It's all up to us.

we choose to suffer, think about the choices in your life,
like smoking, drugging, gambling, over eating, casual sex, violence anything that will make an impact on your life counts, and God is keeping score.
smoking = cancer
drugging = loss of money, family, friends, possible jail time,etc
gambling = loss of money, family, time
over eating = obesity, cancer, diabetes's, etc
casual sex = babies, AIDS, STD's, low self-esteem
violence = death, jail

So instead of crying over it, change it, ask for forgiveness, and stop your own suffering.
Now if you mean suffering like in poor countries, that will be up to their government to account for, they will 'burn' for letting them starve and die, they will have to answer to God as to why they let their ppl die.
Now if you are sick or someone you know is sick, and you don't think that it is fair, remember that in this world, as sure as you are born, as sure as you will die. So live EVERY day like its your last, and accept death as inevitable. And remember that its not how many ppl come to your party, but to your funeral that counts. So be the best you can be.

I think this would be a more valid or interesting question if it were posed as "Why do we suffer?" rather than supposing an omnipresent puppet-master of sorts who directs our every daily actions and consequences. The previous suggestion that we cause our own suffering is certainly partly, but not completely, true.
The answer to the question "Why do we suffer?" is a wholly scientific, rather than theological one. First, we suffer pain because our bodies, as organisms, have evolved through natural selection to help us feel physical pain when something has happened to our bodies to put them at risk of injury or infection, and to increase our chances of survival. We should all be very, very grateful that we experience pain, because this prevents us from dying prematurely. Since we will avoid activities and situations that cause physical pain, we will necessarily increase our longevity and quality of life.
Why do we experience suffering of other kinds, such as terminal illness and painful disease? This can also be explained in a non-religious way, through the laws of natural selection. While we have been evolving to develop traits that increase our longevity, ensure our survival, and pass along our DNA through reproduction for the last few million years, every other living organism on the planet has been evolving to ensure its survival as well. For example, the virus smallpox originally evolved to be transmitted between farm animals (specifically cows). As humans domesticated cattle, the smallpox virus evolved further to allow itself to be reproduced and carried by humans, thus ensuring the virus' own survival. When animals, viruses, and bacteria kill and injure human beings, it is only because they have evolved the traits to ensure their own survival. Human beings and all living things on earth are essentially locked into an eternal "death match" with each other, as we all compete for dominance and survival.
Applying your question about suffering to other animals, imagine a whitetail doe in the forest crying over her buck who has just been shot by a hunter, saying, "Why me, Lord?" Why did the hunter kill the deer? Because eating the deer gives the hunter and his/her family nourishment and pleasure. The deer in turn kills and eats plants for its own survival and nourishment. It's the "eat or be eaten" law of nature.
I think you will understand suffering a lot more when you stop assuming that there is an all-powerful deity over your head controlling every step you (and every other organism on earth) make.
