I work there, and I enjoy it. I work as a server.

They like experience depending on the position you are looking for. That will also depend on how much you make. It is a good place to work. They have standards that they set for their employees and expect a lot from them. Each restaurant is different, so everything will vary depending on where you live.

For example, in NY state I make 4.65 an hour as a server, plus tips. On average per week I work 25-30 hours, and I will make anywhere from 400-600 dollars in tips, with usually a 50-70 dollar pay check. How much you make an hour will vary in your job. Bartenders at my restaurant make 8 an hour, and well as hosts, and idk about the kitchen.

I haven't worked there. but I have worked at other corporate restaurants (that's what it is) and they are a nightmare. They come off very good on paper, but the rules, etc are ridiculous. They force you to upsell at every table, which would be ok, but you have to do it their way, which is very scripted and cheesy. As in " would you like to try our new beer battered shrimp tonite? they're soooo tasty!" tell me you won't get sick of that in a hurry! And if a guest complains about you, forget it! It doesn't matter if the guest was treating you like crap, they won't have your back, and they'll write you up. All corporate (chain) restaurants are like this....and the money is not that great. Lots of tables? Maybe....but the people that frequent places like that in general are not the greatest tippers...it's more families than anything. You'd be better off finding a NICE , independent restaurant. I'll NEVER do corporate again.
