You can get a cable modem, and connect that way(through cable TV and not the phone line)...If you have wifi on your computer, the only other thing you can do is go to like a coffee shop with wifi access...internet cafes, as they are sometimes called...Uh...If its desktop computer you are talking about, I guess the last one is not an option...

A cable company should offer broadband access without requiring telephone service. Some providers may charge an extra fee if you have Internet access without also purchasing cable television; this fee is usually ten dollars a month. However, if you have even basic cable service already, the fee should be waived. Keep an eye out for offers that require you to pay a fee to rent a modem; you can purchase your own modem and save a few more dollars every month as well.

Get a data card from Vodafone, T-Mobile or Orange, and stick it into your PC card slot (or buy an external card slot). Just pop down to the shop that supplies your mobile network service, and ask them what they have to offer in your circumstances. I'm sure that they can work something out for you. Good luck. And by the way, if you have no internet connection/broadband then how the dickens did you write your question here? :)

Either purchase a cellular network card (mostly only available for laptops) or find a local provider for satellite or long-range wifi. Either of these will probably be far more expensive long-term than getting a land-line and broadband.
