I got a burn, and it blistered. Is this a second degree burn? I seem to remember that being true from what i was told in school, but I'm not sure. Also, is there any treatment(s) I should use?

It is a second degree burn, or to be more precise, a partial thickness burn. The blisters are the answer to your question

If the burn covers more than 9 per cent of your body, or you think it is very big, then see a doctor. Otherwise, just run it under tap water for ten minutes and then pad it with a bandage and secure it with another

Meets my definition. How much area does it cover? If larger than about a quarter, see a doctor. If not, keep it clean. I use a sterile needle and drain mine if they don't crack. I put an antibiotic ointment on a dressing placed to hold the skin down against the flesh underneath and keep the skin soft.
