i would wonder through the land beyond the sunset were the faerie queen ruled the enchanted forest in which i would roam and the full moon that glowed every night and the wind that wispered through the trees played the songs of lands from far away i'd then walk along the sandy shores and see him standing before me only to see that as i got closer he would fade
maybe one day i'll be able to see him for real, and even feel him, in that far away place

girls were girls and so were boys...and the air smelled of warm root beer...a time before we were all pressed down by the worries fears and stresses of the world and all anyone really cared about was whether or not their bow ties and their shoestrings matched...aaahh...those were the days.
