ok so here is the problem. my russian dwarf hamster fell 5 feet off the ground last wednesday.. now her left eye can't open and she will not drink without my help. she is still perty active though. i love her very much. what can i do to help her?

Take her to the vet. Be sure to find a vet that is experiance with hamsters and small mammels, because not all of them are.

For now, make her as comfortable as possible. Give her a nice fuzzy blanket, and let her feel safe. Dwarf hamsters are prey animals, so when they know they've been injured it will frighten them when something big comes to pick them up, whether they're used to you or not. Don't take her out and try to play with her, especially since there is no way of telling exactly how badly she was injured unless she sees a vet.

I thnk you should take the animal to the vet. It could be injured internally.

take her to the vets, its more than likely there is something wrong with the brain, it might not be too serious, but take her to the vets and they'll take care of her.. best of luck xx

vet.
they will put her to sleep and will take the trach that fell in her eye. her eye is not damaged but there is something that bothers her

oh well mines was born with one of her eyes closed but like a month or so it had both eyes open

im sorry but shes probably lost her memory and the vet wont help trust me, you should continue helping her until she remembers how to do everything
