A. Wavelength shortens.
B. 3m/1.5s = x/(60x60x60) =x/216000 (there are 216000 seconds in an hour).
Now solve for x

Remember the relation: Wavelength X frequency = Velocity which is constant in a given medium. So, if frequency increases, wavelength decreases proportionately.

Period = 1/frequency and frequency = 1/period
Velocity = 3 X 5 = 15 m

A) as the frequency increases the wavelength gets shorter and shorter, so the pitch gets higher.

B) If this is your homework, im not helping you.
