no they expect to not have seen something and see it the second time, or they know there isn't anything good but after a while they get hungry enough to eat the gross stuff, so they go back

I think the fridge is trying to brainwash you, but don't tell him i said so, my friend found out about the fridges evil plan to brain wash and it fell on him.
