It was blatantly obvious (to me, and almost everyone I know) from the beginning that Bush's whole campaign to go to "war" against Iraq was a sham.
It's so sad to think that the majority of Americans are so stupid and ignorant that they bought that BS. Is there any hope for us?

Everyone thought they had WMDs. (At least 90% of all experts)
Now that we see they didn't the liberals are saying "We always knew they didn't have them." and accusing the conservatives of lying.

It's amazing to me how soon we have forgotten the pain, fear and devastation of the attacks on 9/11. It's amazing to me that people, just a few years later, have FORGOTTEN that Bush was acting on the intelligence that he was given from other people. He trusted them, he believed them because that is what they were hired to do. It wasn't Bush's lies it was flat out errors. BUT, I don't give a rats a$$ about the WMD's because, as far as I am concerned, Saddam himself was a WMD!
These people, direct connection or not, are terrorists! They are over there blowing themselves up in the name of Allah, killing our soldiers. They were over here doing it on 9/11. Do we really want another 9/11? Do we really want to take that chance? Have we all forgotten that the reason we feel so "safe" at night is because we are over there keeping them away from our soil?
In the days after 9/11 EVERYONE supported us going after anyone and everyone that was considered remotely terrorist. Now, several years later those same people are "bored" with it ad have forgotten how vulnerable we were and are ready to turn their backs on it. Geesh people!
What do you think will happen if we leave that country while the terrorists still have as much control as they do? I'm sorry but I can see them doing everything in their power to make another 9/11 happen and this time it would be MUCH worse.

The government takes advantage of weakminded "cattlelike" people and thats what they did here. War brings money to many big businesses too, so they play a big part in keeping all of us weakminded.
I beleive that there was a bigger hidden agenda behind this war such as western hemisphere globalization. I beleive that there was a hidden agreement with the Mexican governement maybe for fuel- immigration reforms, i dont know. But before Sept 11, Bush was having alot of meetings with President Vicente about eliminating the borders. It was a big deal, pretty much everyday it was all over CNN. Since Sept 11, you really didnt hear anything more of it. I found one of the whitehouse press releases of a meeting that was held with President Vicente 6 months before Sept 11 and a reporter even asked if a war was being planned. Just makes you wonder...
Also, Do you remember when this war first started Bush was telling everyone to just go to work, spend money and basically pretend like nothing was going on. All of the sudden everyone had access to money because their property values went up, so now they could spend money and have their thoughts diverted off the war. Its all a ploy by big government and big businesses to keep the American People weakminded and under control and the worst thing about it is they used our own greed to keep us under control.
People need to be more mentally strong and aware as to what is really going on. Not avoid it by spending money (they dont really have) and pretending like nothing is going on. I think that this upcoming election will be the highest ever turnout for Americans because many Americans now recognize that they have been lied to. I pray that people will vote for the best man or woman to be in office. We need someone who really cares deeply about the American people and are truly for us.

well, ya gotta try cutting the American People some slack. most of them are not politically savvy so propaganda, especially the kind of Rovian fear inducing propaganda the Bush admin employed, worked quite well on Mr. and Mrs Joe Blow Sixpack. 9/11 was used as propaganda, those stupid terror alerts ... more propaganda, buy duct tape and plastic sheeting ... yet more propaganda. Mr. and Mrs Sixpack were scared out their minds. they were easy picking for those professional (neo)Conmen.
PS. but at this point i have absolutely no sympathy for those 30 Percenters who refuse to acknowledge that they were duped and continue to support the murderous policies of GW Bush Et Al.
