I know. They don't think it sounds very credible. But then when I find really useful information on here and share it with them and they ask, "how do you know that?" and I say I found it online on YA, they realize that it's not that bad after all.

I was telling my wife about Y!A and she said the same thing, but one day I found her on it and she answered all kinds of questions for all types of people.

Yeah, that has happened to me. They think I'm nuts to sit on a computer and answer "dumb" questions.
