= 2(2x^2 + 7x - 30)

= 2(x + 6)(2x - 5)

4x^2 + 14x - 60 can be written as 2(2x^2 + 7x - 30) and that can be further factored as:

(x + 6) and (2x - 5) and so the factors are:

2 (x + 6) (2x - 5)

4x²+14x-60
= 2 (2x²+7x-30)
=2(2x-5)(x+6)

4x^2 + 14x - 60

= 2(2x^2 + 7x - 30)

= 2(x + 6)(2x - 5)

therefore either (x+6) = 0

or (2x - 5) = 0

if x+6 = 0

x = -6

if 2x -5 = 0

2x = 5

x = 5/2

x = 3.5

so x = 3.5 or -6!
