Is being tall good?

I'm only 10 and I'm 5'1. Is that good?

I can only speak from experience; I'm 6' 2". Riding in airplanes sucks. Riding in busses sucks worse. The ceiling in the back seat of many modern cars touches my head. Many beds are too short. Most bicycle frames aren't made for me. I'm also inclined to believe that tall people are more prone to back, knee, and joint problems. I've never enjoyed being tall much.

Having said that, you don't get to pick, so if you're tall you should learn to make the best of it: It's nice in movie theatres; not that many people can block my view. Sometimes it's nice to be able to change lightbulbs without a step stool. Some people say that girls like tall guys better... don't know, never been a girl.

I'm 6'-7" tall and I've always enjoyed being tall. The biggest problem is finding clothes that fit. Also, I drive a large SUV, because that's the only vehicle I can ride in comfortably. So it costs more for gas.

Your a girl right? The description given above is ok but if your too tall you will have a hard time finding a date. Guys DO NOT like to date girls who are taller than them.

I'm 13 and I'm about 5'9" or 5'10". I'm taller than most of the teachers and kids at my school. My brother is around your age and height and he is tall for his age. I like being tall. It's better than being short. :]

well im really tall for my age too and it has its ups and downs. when you get in middle school, at least you will have a good chance of making the volleyball and basketball teams. :]
