I've taught English and writing in a four-year university for five years, but it's a tech-oriented school, and the admin cares so little about humanities, we don't even have a copy machine. I want to apply to a private high school with high academic standards. What do I do? (I have a Ph.D. and I'm a published writer). I can also do extra-curricular stuff ranging from sports coaching to photography if need be.

Be sure you have a K-12 certification. Call the HR offices and ask them to send you an application. Then, send them a resume packet with: resume, cover letter, letters of recommendation, copy of certification.

It seems like you're a highly qualified candidate. They'll snap you right up. :)
