They are desperate for attention. They believe that the key to happiness is in other people, when people are the real problem. The rejection they receive that causes them to flee into the arms of others is the rejection of PEOPLE. People will always find fault with one another and will always reject one in preference for another. People should first seek love in God. It is only through the love of God that a person can find honest love in another person. Most human love is shallow and lust oriented. When the shiny stuff wears off, then they go looking for a new trinket to play with.

I think it's because when you are least expecting to find love your perception of things is very clear. You aren't guided by emotions, so you meet this person and you start realizing how much you have in common and you are struck by how good you would be for each other and by the time you're home... you are thrilled of the feeling and realization of the fact that you are finally in love! It's a great feeling :-)
