Iran is the 2nd largest supplier of oil in the world, just behind Saudi Arabia. Not only can Iran cut off all of it's oil they could cut off all Saudi oil but disrupting or stopping all oil trying to come out of the Persian Gulf. If that happens there won't be anymore US economy or China economy, or world economy.

Bush's final & ultimate f*ck up. Bush will solidify his position as one of the most destructive leaders in world history: right up there with Stalin, Hilter, & Mao. How proud will US conservatives be that they voted for Bush TWICE!?!?

It doesn't matter where the US gets it's oil from because the price of oil is controled by a world market price that everyone has to adhere too. so if iran stops shipping oil everyone who buys oil from anybody is going be greatly effected by it.

Your argument is fairly good expect for 2 points. The US does not receive gas from Iran and if Iran cut off its oil supply to other countries Iran would have no funds, would be unable to fight a war and its people would starve. The economic of Iran would collapse long before the US was effected. Iran would not be able to fund a war without their oil profits.
