What is the name of this wild cat movie?

Question

My parents told me they saw an old movie about a couple who raised a wild cat cub (they couldn't remember if it was a lion or a tiger.) The couple found a baby wild cat who had no mother (I think it died) so they took care of it until it grew up and they wanted to let it go into the wild. They tried to release him, but he was so used to humans that he wanted to stay with them. They decided to build a hut in a jungle, so they can be with him and he can be in the wild at the same time. Eventually he got used to it's natural habitat but still remembered his human family. It sounds like a really sweet movie, but they don't know what it was called. Does anyone have any idea what movie I'm talking about?
