I AM a helpful person at least 50 hours a week. The rest of the time I only try to help if I FEEL like it i.e. on Y!A. Otherwise I'm not "on" 24/7 ....I need my batteries re-energized and helping others all the time can suck the life right out of ya, dontcha know.

Yes, it is good to help others, and it makes one feel good too, there is a lot of joy that can be shared by being helpful!
Even when we are out driving, it is helpful to be courteous and let someone in on the road, or to stop and help someone in need... but there are so many different ways we can find to help others! It's fun to do things anonymously too!

I think that everyone answers a question in ( yahoo answers ) is trying to be helpful person , even if his answer wasn't serious .

In the past I would help everybody, but now I am very selective as to who I help. I have been burned to many times!
