That would be a great party , good music in the 70's and you could dress up in the clothing styles from the days like platform shoes , bell bottom jeans , concert T- shirts from 70's groups and such . I think it would make for a very good time and bring back some fond memories .

i was hostess/promoter of a 70`s nite at a club a few years back...everyone had to dress the part of course, with lots of glitter clothes & makeup, platform shoes, etc...70`s music was played...it was a fantastic nite...we gave prizes for most outrageous outfit, best celebrity look-a-like, most creative makeup, etc...we had a 70`s dance competition, where people had to do a specific dance from the decade & we chose the person who was able to do that particular dance the best...all the drinks that nite were named after 70`s icons, etc. ("ziggy stardust", " glam slam", "afro aphrodisiac", etc.)...the nite was a great success, pulling in 500+ people!!! i luv events like this!!!

Great Idea ..besides 70 music ..you could put albums on the wall & cut out the middle of albums for coasters ..

I would have to decline for i loathed the 70's.... have fun wearing geeky clothes, listening to horrible music and the only thing that i will miss are the platforms and I still wear them!

I think a seventies party would rock! Especially if there was a David Bowie CD playing! You could do sooo much kool stuff!Just make sure ppl dress up!!

i'll break out the Nehru jacket, patched denim bell-bottoms, pink granny glasses. play John Lennon as the featured artist, mix in a heaping dose of psychadelia.
leave the drugs out tho!
