it depends on how that person uses their popularity...do they try to have a positive or negative effect on society??? some famous people only use their status to feed their own egos & amass loads of material possessions, instead of trying to give back & improve the world in some way, such as donating time & money to charities, etc...

I think that in the society we live in today it is a bad thing. You will have no privacy, and people will pick you apart like dead meat when you do something wrong or that is not considered acceptable behavior in there opinion. You have to fear that your family could be kidnapped for ransom and all other kinds of things.
But on the other hand you will be wealthy beyond your wildest dreams.

but 4 fun and u like singing or acting

It can be fun to have money but you have no private life. Every action is put under a microscope. You can't do anything without the whole world knowing. I wouldn't want to be famous.

I do not complaint. Being famous has done me a good favor, it has opened doors for me. Still I always need to get other things that fame can not get me.

Being Semi-famous is better. You don't constantly have photographers in your face all the time but are still getting the bucks.

The good things about being famous are:
*You'll get lots of money
*Have your personal manager work for you
*You'll be very proud of your self
The bad things are:
*You'll hav less time for your family and friends
*Can't go to public places with lots of people (or they will follow you)
*You'll have to work, work and work!
