is it easier for beautiful people to get ahead in life?

are they REALLY more likely to get jobs etc. if they are good looking and decent in the inside as well?

Why not? It's nice if you're a decent person, but wonderful if you're that AND beautiful. Undoubtedly, a beautiful, accomplished, and good-hearted person will beat an equally good-hearted/accomplished person in getting a job. Why? Because it shows that vanity hasn't gotten the better of you. I, for one, don't mind the company of nice-looking, nice-behaving people. I DO mind being in the presence of nice-looking, ill-mannered people. As always, it's the inside that counts above all. But of course, remember that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as they say. And if your kind of beauty happens to appeal to the majority of your beholders' eyes, you will have...an easier time than most. At least, if only the first impression counts.

Yes. the people who are beautiful will get more oppurtunities they dont deserve for doing nothing....and alot of times....when they do deserve it....thats still not why they get a good job...they are only hired for their beauty. and in those cases...i think thats a good oppurtunity for some people...like celebrities....how do u think those people get noticed? most of the time..they already had a lot of money...and then hollywood starts lookin at em and makes them a star. though they havnt done anything. and thats when i think those people while u have everyones eyes on u...do something good and give people examples since people tend to follow them anyways. ....and that will be brains....not just beauty. and people who are smart and are only noticed for their beauty that is sometimes a good thing because...now they are smart and can do wonderful things...and everyone is paying attention because of their beauty..so they are sure to have everyones attention!

but it is sad how people who "arent beautiful" dont get the same oppurtunities. =[

sadly, this is probably very true, but its so wrong, people need to learn how to look past looks. The guys at my school that are cute are really mean, but the so-so looking ones are really nice, and I'd go out with them over a hot guy whos a jerk any day.

I am not so sure about "easier." But they often get more attention. The best way to get ahead in life is hard work. By working hard at something, you can overcome the obstacles in your way and move ahead. But it takes hard work.

it is not so hard to see the answer is it? ow many over weight ugly models so you see in adds, movies, or television. People sadly only associate with moving up people. Favoritism is warned about in the bible. see James 2:1-11. it is a sin to show favoritism.

This may be true however,Beauty doesnt last forever.The people who rely on their beauty fall the hardest.If you notice how many of them battle depression,drug abuse,etc.Im happy with my average looks!

yes; but they have the same and sometimes worse problems than the uglys. Sometimes the uglys start to look better and sometimes the beauties start to join the uglys. I personally started out ugly, and now, uh, uh, i'm still ugly.
