Yes and that's not a bad thing.

We all dress, behave, comunicate and live our lives around what other people think.

Our motivation in life to do anything isn't just based around being better than someone else, it's about how we're seen by other people and that in turn gives us the satisfaction of doing it.

Unfortunately, it does bother me. I am constantly thinking about what others think of me, and I don't know why.

If someone stares at me for too long, I automatically think that something's wrong, and I whip out my mirror and take a quick look, then I check my clothes to make sure that there are no stains, etc.

I hate this habit--this problem. I know I shouldn't care what others think, but I don't know how to help myself. I'm not ugly, nor am I overweight or have some kind of handicap, so...blah. I'm hopeless!

It does sometimes, but other times I just think fcuk it. If people want to judge me without taking the time to find out what Im really like then thats their problem not mine. If I spent all my time worrying about what other people thought of me Id never leave my house

It's typical of people who believe in god to play god with others. They judge.

This is the trick. You can't control what others do, but you can control how you react to it.

I'm not sure what age you are, but as you get older keep in mind that you'll care less and less what others think about you. At a certain point you won't care at all. This is the most freedom you'll ever experience in your life. Of course you're always welcome to reach that point earlier in your life. I'm 37 and I'm already there.

Be who you are, live your life as you see fit, and don't care what others think of you.

You Can.

Sometimes it does. When most people first meet me they think the absolute worst of me. I'm judged on my looks way before I open my mouth.

No it doesnt bother me at all. Why should I bother about other peoples thoughts ? They either like me or dont like me. I am easy with it. My friends on here accept me so why should I care about anyone else.

At the moment, i dont have much confidence and self-respect, so what other people think about me does bear some importance, though no one could feel worse about me than i do myself. Im ts by the way, still pre-op and hate myself for it.

Nope, not one bit. But then, I am incredibly vain and arrogant, and have been for years. Screw what other people think. In my experience, the vast majority of people don't spend a lot of time thinking anyway.

i dont care, i was told the other day that people dont instantly like me especially women! I dont know why as i try to be friendly and im a kind person. Mind you i dont like being fake and wont put on a "bubbly act" for anyone, as its not me. I always except people for who they are, im not judging you!

There are so few people that I would respect enough to even care about their opinion of me.

And people judge each other all the time, it's our nature.
