The people who live in private roads can make their own rules. They can put a gate across to stop you entering. If you park contrary to their wishes they can clamp you or have your car removed. Private roads often have a notice displayed saying what is allowed, usually it is only for genuine access to a person living in that road. You may not enter it for any other reason.

if a car is parked any where it can be tagged if parked longer than posted for that area or it can be towed also its called abandonment. the police think is broke down and tow it or they put a sticker on it when it will be towed. unless they never go out to that road. so they never see it. iv park my car in the woods before so my ex could not see it and it was gone the next morning. not stolen it was towed. they said someone said it was in there way. in the way of what there tree. i still had to pay the bill.

Some cities having a problem with this very thing have incorporated sections of the traffic code to include this on private property. Where I worked they didn't have that particular part about stop signs, but they did have sections covering things like needing a driver's license, insurance, tags, etc. to cover people who take their under aged kids to teach them how to drive on parking lots and to ensure that people had insurance if there was an accident. This way the Police didn't just say "sorry, they didn't have insurance but it's on private property." Check with the local cops if you want an answer on this, particularly the traffic section which is normally where the people who enforce these laws work.

On a private road, you need the permission of the landowner to park, whether on the road or the pavement.
It is up to the landowner what you may or may not do.
You cannot be issued with a normal parking ticket, but the landowner may take action against you.

I would say thet if the road is privately owned the land owner should be able to park anywhere he wants however,if you block access to emergency vehicles (fire, paramedics, police, etc.) it may be a concern.

Private roads are like any private property belongs to the owners. They decide what to do with it and have their own upkeep. If you park your car there they can have it towed. If they have their car there it is there property they can if they desire to.
