He is careful about how much he drinks and no longer derives the pleasure he use to from drinking as much as he wanted .
I hear the staff has been watering down the booze since day one when he got to the white house .
Orders from poppa Bush .
He was the one that put the pressure on George to slow down .
So George took His drinking underground .

Now he only drinks after 6 pm and this is also why when first elected he stayed at his Crawford ranch so much . As I said the staff at the white house was following orders from Daddy Bush to keep George on a short leash .

The answer is a definite yes he is and he never stopped he is just more sneaky about it .

I am sure he indulges in a soft drink occasionally. Since he's from Texas, I am sure he enjoys an iced tea every once in awhile. Everyone has to drink to stay hydrated.

He never stopped imbibing. I thought it humorous when he choked on the pretzel (not that I wish him death or anything, don't wish that on anyone) because what would you be drinking during a game with a pretzel? Beer... well, if you're a "good old boy"

Yes, the body requires liquids to survive. He doesn't drink alcohol though because he has been sober since recovery.
